No records in v$recovery_file_dest vs. existing 0 value records

in Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC) 2 comments

I have db11 databases on Oracle Linux 8 - archive logs are enabled with custom location of log_archive_dest.

Some of those databases have no records in v$recovery_file_dest and some databases have records but the values are 0.

What may be the difference in the setup ?

Note: monitoring software gives 2 different error messages for these 2 cases: 'Unable to aquire flash recovery area info' vs. 'Illegal division by zero'
