Data Dictionary change on Fat client machine

Hello,

We are on TR 9.2.9.3 , when developer trying to change the UDC used by Data item to another UDC, then the developer deleted the (the global table specs and DD table specs) from Spec folder on the dev machine, the change is not effective ! is there any other action should be done with TR 9.2.9.3?
