Want to update Job/Salary/Grade/Step using API

Want to use API/s to update Job Change/Salary Change - with Grade change/Step Change.

What are the APIs to be used - in which order.

I was able to update the Salary Change using APIs when called separately.

Need to update the Grade/Step on the Assignment also.

Can someone update on this
