Updating Security Profile to Advanced Authentication mode did not bring up siebel application

Hi,

I updated the existing Gateway Security profile from DB Basic Authentication to DB Advanced Authentication mode via safemode smc. It was success and able to login to SMC successfully. But the siebel application is not coming up. It is still throwing server busy error.

Has any one faced such issue? What could be the reason?
