PL Query during Tools upgrade

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered ✓

We have a custom PL-Clone_PTPT1000 which is a actual clone of PTPT1000. Now, How to handle the custom permission list - PTPT1000 during a Peopletools upgrade? Should we retain the PL-Clone_PTPT1000 and then add up security for pages, web libs as needed to it?

Does anybody have a quick way of doing it?
