PII Data Left in HZ_PURGE_CANDIDATES/HZ_NON_PURGE_CANDIDATES tables

Hi, we are using party purge features to remove obsolete data, however I've noticed that HZ_PURGE_CANDIDATES (PARTY_NAME, ADDRESSES, PHONE_NUMBERS) and HZ_NON_PURGE_CANDIDATES (PARTY_NAME) appear to retain some data indefinitely.

I can find no standard purge process for these tables, nor any particular uses for these tables outside the purge process - the technical reference manual shows no foreign keys for example, DBA_DEPENDENCIES shows usage by HZ_PURGE package only.

Ideally I'd like to create a process to delete rows by date from HZ_PURGE_BATCHES and their associated child records in HZ_PURGE_CANDIDATES/HZ_NON_PURGE_CANDIDATES. Failing this, obfuscate the quoted fields in the candidates tables again after a certain time from creation. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?
