Notification Composer - Personalizations

Notification Administration allows to personalize based on the PeopleTools Notification Name that was used to Compose Notifications.

If for a particular process (Absence), personalization was turned on for Manager Role and Employee Role…

If I am a manager (and hence am also an employee) - and I choose to turn off Absence related emails - Does this mean I will not receive any emails? Emails meant for employees and Approval Emails meant for Managers?

Example: I, as a manager, submit absence and the approval goes to my manager, and a confirmation email sent to me (as an employee) - Will this confirmation email be suppressed, since I chose to turn off emails using Notification Preferences?
