Setting up email notifications for P43081 (Purchase Order Approvals)

I am looking for documentation on how to set up an email notification to the approver when a user enters a PO requisition and a workflow email is sent. I completed the approval route setup and attached it to the PO entry, and ensured that both the requester and the approver are employees.
