Install Base Open Interface failing to create relationship between 2 existing instances

in Install Base and Asset Tracking - EBS (MOSC) Question

We recently upgraded from 12.1.3 to 12.2.15.

We have existing item instances in Install Base. We are populating CSI_II_RELATION_INTERFACE table and running Install Base Open Interface. The program completes normal with no error logs but the relationships are not created and within the interface table we see error "Instance validation failed
(instance_id=10089215)".

We are populating below mentioned columns on the interface table.

,process_status
,subject_id
,object_id
,created_by
,creation_date
,last_updated_by
,last_update_date
