Can we change Stocking Type from M to K

in Manufacturing - JDE1 (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered ✓

Hello,

We have a requirement related to Item Master (P4101). We would like to know if it is possible to change the Stocking Type of an item from "M" (Manufactured) to "K" (Kit).

This is needed to support a business scenario where an existing manufactured item may need to be treated as a kit item.

Is there any standard way in JD Edwards to make this change? Also, are there any impacts or considerations we should be aware of?
