CMP015 compensation refresh process inserting PAY/API row in each run

in PeopleTools and Lifecycle Management - PSFT (MOSC) Question

Hi,

This is a cloned version of the delivered CMP015 process.

When there is a change in Standard Hours, CMP015 correctly triggers a compensation change and inserts a PAY/API row, which is the expected behavior. However, due to ESP012, which is a delivered rate code, the Base Pay checkbox is selected, and the rate is not defaulted from Grade or Step.

Since our CMP015-based process runs daily, we are seeing that compensation is being recalculated on every run, which in turn keeps triggering a compensation change and results in a new PAY/API row being inserted each time, even when there is no actual change.
