How to issue a temporary backup laptop during an EAM repair Work Order?
In Oracle EAM, we need to temporarily issue a backup laptop asset to an employee while the employee’s primary laptop is under repair through an EAM Work Order. What is the recommended Oracle-supported process to record this temporary backup asset issuance and return? Should we use Asset Move Workbench, Asset Check-in/Checkout, Installed Base item instance ownership/location update, or a custom EAM asset status/location process? Also, how should the backup asset be linked with the primary laptop repair Work Order for audit and tracking purposes?
