autoupgrade from Linux DBRU 19.31 (as of 2026-05-04) to DBRU 19.31 (REL-APR2026) (as of 2026-05-17)

A System was upgraded to 19.31 before the DBRU Patch was put on hold and replaced to a new version.

The notes say that it is not a problem on non-exadata systems.

But to have a clear reference system: Is it possible to use autoupgrade to install the actual DBRU?

So i want to upgrade from

Unique Patch Id: 28700584
Patch Description: Database Release Update : 19.31.0.0.260421 (39034528)

to

Unique Patch Id: 28740323
Patch Description: Database Release Update : 19.31.0.0.260421 (REL-APR2026) (39034528)

From autoupgrade.jar -patch -mode deploy i get the message

The patch parameter for prefix upg1 is invalid. The version of the specified RU [19.31] must be newer than the version of the source database [19.31.0.0.0]

Howdy, Stranger!
