How to Terminate Specific Benefit Plans for All Employees related to 401k
Oracle product: Peoplesoft 9.2 and we are on PI46 and use Benefits Administration to process benefits.
We currently have a custom 401(k) setup that uses plan type 40, with separate benefit plans for “regular” 401(k) and Roth contributions. We also use plan type 4Z, with two benefit plans for catch-up contributions.
We are looking to better align our configuration with Oracle’s recommended 401(k) setup. As regulations continue to evolve, we are finding it increasingly challenging to adopt delivered functionality within our current custom structure.
As a first step, we need to terminate all employees’ current savings plan rows for plan types 40 and 4Z. This would allow us to eventually move all current enrollments into one plan type and potentially one benefit plan.
