how to use CNID in P4312

in Distribution - JDE1 (MOSC) Question

Hi We would like to update the container id during PO receipt so we can track shipment from asia. Unfortunately, this field is not available.

How does the container id work? is there some documentation whether we need to use full blown transportation for this?
