Add lowest transportation rate to a sales order item

We are testing Basis Code 8 functionality in Advance Pricing to add transportation charge. We are using Customer Master, Route Code to assign rate to the route.

Is there any standard business function available to retrive the lowest rate if we passed the customer number ? We expect that the system will check the rating details and will return lowest non-zero rate corresponding to that route.
