Regarding the configuration method for watchdog on Oracle Linux 9.7

Hello.

We are currently building an Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) environment under the following conditions:

  • Physical server: Dell PowerEdge
  • OS: Oracle Linux 9.7
  • OLVM: 4.5 (Appliance 8.10)

During the setup process, a watchdog-related error occurred on the hardware side, which triggered a forced reboot.

After consulting Dell support, we were advised to verify the watchdog configuration on the OS side, as such settings should exist there.

Could you please provide the configuration method for the watchdog feature on Oracle Linux 9.7?
Also, please let us know whether these settings need to be configured within OLVM as well.
