There is no functionality to inactivate or delete on the STATE_DEFN. What is the best business practice when an international state is no longer valid?

The ISO standard for international states or provinces (known as ISO 3166-2) occasionally change and this is what we reference when we create the state codes.

How do you handle this when an international state or province no longer exists? We're on FSCM 9.2 PT8.61.08 PUM 52
