Auto-Select First Suggestion in inputComboboxListOfValues - ADF 12.2.1.3
Hello Oracle ADF Community,
I'm working with Oracle ADF 12.2.1.3.0 and using af:inputComboboxListOfValues with af:autoSuggestBehavior.
Current Behavior:
When users type in the LOV field (e.g., "app"), suggestions appear in the dropdown but users must press the down arrow key to highlight the first suggestion, then press Enter to select it.
Desired Behavior:
I want the first suggestion in the dropdown to be automatically highlighted when suggestions appear, while keeping the user's typed text ("app") in the input field. Then users can simply press Enter to select the highlighted suggestion.
Example:
- User types "app" in the input field
- Dropdown appears with suggestions: "Apple Company", "Application Services", etc.
