Page and Field Configurator Override Prompt Value isn't working.

We are trying to use the new Override Prompt Value on page and field configurator with tools 8.62.09 and PUM 55. We are trying to override the Task Profile ID to use a custom view that includes the description. Instead of modifying the record we are hoping to use the new Override Prompt Value option, however it doesn't seem to be working. Is there a limit to how far "down" in subpages the option can be used?
