Database Output giving wrong results

A custom UBE using the Database Output feature in RDA (Report Design Aid) with direct table data mapping is intermittently producing corrupted records in its EDI flat file output. Affected records are either split across multiple physical lines, merged with adjacent records, or missing their header fields entirely, making the output unparseable by downstream EDI systems.

Has anyone faced this kind of issue?
