How to default Date in any Module that have GL Date based on Client Timezone / Preferred timezone

in General Ledger - EBS (MOSC) Question

Hi All

i have an issue in oracle EBS R12.2.13.

server timezone GMT + 7

client timezone GMT - 4

it is 11 hours difference time

when my user (client timezone) create transsaction at 2 PM 17 July 2026 assuming it will posted on 17 July 2026 but the transaction is accounted in the server time 18 Jul 2026 . and it also a big problem due the audit and regulatory report for my client location.

Why Oracle defaulting GL Date based on server date not based on Client / Preference date. is there any setup / configuration to change this defaulting GL Date?
