pca x11 default gateway for VM

after deploying PCA X11 , i created an instance but i cant be able to ping all my instances, when i reboot i saw the default GW is set to x.x.x.1 which is the first IP of the sunbet, but my actual subnet is different (x.x.x.254). how can i change this?

i tried custom cloud init script but no luck
