501 Not Implemented error on notification attachment download in Chrome/Edge after 12.1.3 to 12.2.15

Hi All,

We recently upgraded our Oracle E-Business Suite environment from R12.1.3 to R12.2.15, and we are now facing an issue when opening file attachments from Sales Order approval notifications.

Issue:
When a user clicks on an attachment link in the SO approval notification, the browser opens a new tab and displays a blank page with the message "Not Implemented". The attachment does not download.

Environment:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.15 (upgraded from 12.1.3)
  • Environment: UAT
  • Module: Order Management (Workflow notification attachments)

Has anyone encountered a 501 Not Implemented error on OADownload.jsp after upgrading to 12.2.15?

Any specific Oracle HTTP Server or browser-related configuration we should verify?
