Siebel Oracle HA in AWS with 3 databases across 3 AZ's

Hi,

One of our customers is moving to AWS and they have set up 3 Oracle database across three availability zones. Just one of the database is active with the other two being replicated with Data Guard.

We tested fail over and other non Siebel applications that use JDBC failed over very well but Siebel with its TNS Names entry did not do as well. We have updated our TNS Names file for HA with all 3 database server listed. We have also given FAILOVER=ON and LOAD_BALANCE=OFF in the TNS entry but no other parameters.

Was curious if anyone else has implemented Oracle database HA in this fashion and if so what did your TNS Names entry looked like and what Siebel parameters you might have also set.
