Restoring RMAN backup from one X10 ODA to another

Hello

We have 2 ODAs - both X10-S

First ODA has DEV database running. We are making RMAN backups (L0 And Archive logs) nightly onto an NFS

Second ODA has just the appliance created and a database home. There is no database there

The ODA version is 19.26

Here are the details of the second ODA

We are trying to restore the RMAN backup from First ODA onto this ODA. The idea is to test a process where we can use any database backup (RMAN) and use that backup to restore onto this ODA. Now the question we have is that do we need to perform / execute this command before we can proceed with the restore / recovery of the RMAN backup on this ODA?
