Barcode font IDAutomationDMatrix not displaying properly post upgrade from EBS 12.2.6 to 12.2.14

in BI Publisher (MOSC) Question

We have a BI Publisher report that displays 2D barcodes in EBS 12.2.6 instance. This report is showing random bars mixed with text after upgrade to 12.2.14 instance. I have verified the font setting/mapping in XML Publisher administrator and everything looks normal. What could be the root cause of this issue? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
