Hello Experts,

We are currently evaluating the migration of certain Siebel CRM infrastructure components from an on-premises environment to cloud-based services and would appreciate guidance from the community regarding best practices, architecture considerations, and any lessons learned.

1. Siebel File System Migration

Current Environment:

  • Siebel CRM file system is currently hosted on an on-premises NAS storage server.
  • Siebel version: IP 23.11
  • File attachments are accessed through the standard Siebel File System configuration.

Proposed Architecture:

  • Migrate the existing Siebel File System from the on-premises NAS storage server to an AWS S3 bucket.
