In good old MOS (or should we say, "true MOS"?) it was possible to provide feedback about any article, simply by typing into a text zone labelled "Send Feedback for this page", or something similar. That was a very efficient way of providing comments directly to Support technical writers, e.g. for signaling typos, or ask for clarifications, or any other enhancement as deemed necessary.

That is not possible anymore, and it's a missing feature, IMHO.

Instead, we are "graced" with the possibility of providing a rating, which is largely meaningless if we cannot provide any complementary comment as to why we chose such a rating in the first place.
