ePro Fluid - Invalid chartfield combos are happening after submission

Good morning everyone,

Thank you in advance for your input!

We are currently upgrading to PUM Image 55 and PeopleTools 8.62.09, with our go-live planned for September 2026.

We are in the process of moving to ePro Fluid from classic.

During the ePro Fluid testing for Requisitions. We noticed that the Combo Edit check occurs only after the requisition is submitted. Oracle has confirmed that this is the intended functionality and that the system is working as designed.

Oracle suggested that we reach out to the community to see how other customers have handled this scenario. If you have encountered this behavior, would you be willing to share how your organization addressed it? Were there any process changes, customizations, or best practices that worked well?
