Preventing Invalid PDF Errors in Application Report (TAM - Manage Application)

in Human Resources and ELM - PSFT (MOSC) Question

When a recruiter opens an application and uses the "Print" function to generate an Application Report (which merges multiple attachments into 1 single report, pdf file); sometimes the user receives this error: Following PDFs were not merged in Application Report, as these PDFs are invalid. Please review Application server log for details of error. The issue where the Application Report fails to merge PDFs due to invalid, corrupted, or secured files is a known problem in PeopleSoft HCM.

Recommended Resolution:

- Resave the problematic PDF files using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Professional. And/or print secured PDFs to remove restrictions
- Re-upload the resaved PDF files to the application.
