ACA Processing Throughout The Year - Questions About Improving The Process

ACA processing at the end of the year is very time consuming. It often takes us from December to March to complete all of the sorts and loads and excel to CI loading into Peoplesoft. We are curious to know how others are completing their ACA processing.

Here is what we do in Tennessee:

1. We run an ACA master SQL to pull down the ACA eligibility data from PeopleSoft for our active employees for the tax year (last year was for 2025)
2. We sort and filter the excel spreadsheet by various scenarios based on hires, terminations, part time to full time and ACA eligibility.
