Distribution Template set up

Is there a way to set up more than one distribution template for inventory that get costed back to work orders based on the inventory account (object) code? When we issue inventory to work orders some of items have different account codes (i.e. - one general parts, another for oils/fluids and one for tires) and right now all of items are being issued to the work order under the default template object code, despite their being a different object code on the inventory item setup. How do we pass the correct account (object) code from the item to
