Always Free A1 instance disabled – unable to resize from 4 OCPU/24GB to 2 OCPU/12GB

in Oracle VM (OVM) (MOSC) Question

Hello,

My OCI Compute instance has been placed into a disabled state and I am unable to perform any actions on it from either the Console or CLI.

Tenancy: oskarspucka (Always Free)
Region: eu-frankfurt-1
Instance OCID: ocid1.instance.oc1.eu-frankfurt-1.antheljtjqk37daceqgmzeuwwaaihgpwghe7a2wkhomtazzpkjjtlrnzcupa
Current state: Stopped / disabled

The Console and CLI return the following error:

"Instance is disabled and will not accept any action requests. Please contact customer support to reenable."

I would like to resize the instance to the Always Free limits, but the disabled state prevents me from changing the shape configuration.

Could you please remove the disabled flag / re-enable the instance so that I can resize it?
