Essbase 21c & Weblogic 12.2.1.4 Support

in Oracle Essbase (MOSC) Question

Hello!

Weblogic 12.2.1.4 is ending premier support December 2026. Essbase 21c is under premier support until December 2027.

How are Essbase 21c customers to keep their installations up to date on security patches between Dec 2026 and Dec 2027? We anticipate upgrading to Essbase 26ai next year, however as you know that is a large version change with an out of place upgrade. We need to be able to bridge the gap between Dec 2026 and 26ai and keep our installation secure. Does the restricted use Weblogic license included with Essbase allow us to download CPUs for it between Dec 2026 & Dec 2027?
