EBS 11.5.10.2 with Database 11.2.0.4 supported on Oracle Linux 8 or 9?

We have a legacy Oracle E-Business Suite environment with the following configuration:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite 11i, version 11.5.10.2
  • Oracle Database 11g Release 2, version 11.2.0.4
  • Oracle Linux 7.9 x86-64
  • Hosted on an OCI virtual machine
  • Paravirtualized launch mode
  • Internal-only system with no public IP address

We are assessing how to address Oracle Linux 7 moving into Extended Support and need to confirm the officially supported upgrade options.

Could you please clarify:

  1. Is the complete Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 technology stack certified and supported on Oracle Linux 8.x?
  2. Is Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 certified and supported on Oracle Linux 8.x when used with EBS 11.5.10.2?
  3. Is an in-place upgrade from Oracle Linux 7.9 to Oracle Linux 8 using Leapp supported for this configuration, or would a new Oracle Linux 8 VM and migration or cloning of the environment be required?
