Subject: Oracle EBS 12.2 / WLS 10.3.6 - Any option to upgrade ConsoleApp from Log4j 1.x to Log4j 2.x?

Hello Experts,

We are running Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.x with WebLogic Server 10.3.6 and FMW 11.1.1.9.

We raised Oracle SR 4-0002822163 regarding the vulnerability observed in the ConsoleApp component:

While CVE-2021-4104 (JMS Appender vulnerability) is stated as not vulnerable in ConsoleApp software, the Log4j version is still 1.x.
Since Log4j 1.x is End-of-Life (EOL) and no longer supported by Apache, our security team is concerned that there may be other undocumented or future
vulnerabilities associated with this unsupported version.

Oracle's response was that the relevant vulnerabilities have been mitigated through the recommended patches and that the Log4j JARs
