OL8.10 booting to UEK7 system hangs after grub, but in rhck i am able to get in

I have a DELL R6715 AMD gen 5 cpu and the system boots fine on kernel-4.18.0-553.158.1.el8_10.x86_64 RHCK kernel but using UEK kernel-uek-5.15.0-324.217.5.2.el8uek.x86_64 it jsut hangs. Not sure what i can do to get it to boot to UEK. Is anyone else having this same issues?
