How to Restrict certain item type from being allocated/picked for wip jobs pickrelease using wmsrule

Hi,

In r12 , How do we Restrict certain item type from being allocated/picked for wip jobs compinent pickrelease using wmsrule.

Please suggest on how to design the wms rule. We tried with rule Item type not equal to Item type value and placed it as first seq in the picking strategy, but it did not restrict and item got allocated after wip component pick release.
