Oracle OS Dir privileges

Hello All its been some time.

I have a question about oracle and grid os dir privs.

There is a new stig out that is really locking down the oracle home dir. all world privs have to be 0. they are recommending 750.

Will oracle still operate as it should and will we have to fix again after each patch?
