Fleet Maintenance - Deploying Gold Image with no database running

in Managing Databases using Enterprise Manager (MOSC) Question

Hi,

We have a linux cluster of 2 servers. Oracle database is running on Server1. Server2 contains Oracle Home but runs as a standby, no databases are running on it.

During the patching process we are deploying new Gold Image version to inactive Oracle Home on primary server where the database is running, Server1:

emcli db_software_maintenance -performOperation -purpose=DEPLOY_DB_SOFTWARE -target_type=oracle_database -target_list=${DBNAME} -input_file="data:${RESPFILE}"

$RESPFILE contains Oracle Home path and some additional parameters.

Curently we are using OEM console to deploy Gold Image to standby server, Server2. Is it spossible to do it using emcli db_software_maintenance?
