Neonatal 26 week eligibility
Please can the following be confirmed on how the 26 week eligibility criteria is calculated?
The 26 week eligibility point is being dictated by the Child DOB i.e. if the child is born before the SP's 26 week point it is failing, born after it is not but the rule is it is 26 weeks continuous service by the end of the relevant week and the relevant week for someone with no other statutory entitlements such as SMP is the week before the child enters Neonatal Care and they can enter up to 28 days after DOB.
