Trying to compress JPEG Media Object files

in Design Tools & Output Technologies - JDE1 (MOSC) Question

We are JDE E1 9.2.9.3 Tools and Release 25 Apps in a Microsoft Window and SQL environment. We are eating up space within SQL with our Media Objects. JPEGs in particular. We may attach 30 pictures to one sales order showing how the product is packaged. Our jpeg files are approx. 3 to 3.5 MB per file.

Is there a way to compress the jpeg files that are already in our database?
