Recommendation for PeopleSoft CRM 8.8 SP1 to CRM 9.2 - Upgrade/Re-implementation Approach

in Customer Relationship Management - PSFT (MOSC) Question

Hi All,

We are currently evaluating options for moving from PeopleSoft CRM 8.8 SP1 (PeopleTools 8.56.26) to PeopleSoft CRM 9.2.

During discussions with Oracle Support, we understand that a direct upgrade path may not be straightforward due to our current PeopleTools version and the age of the application release. As a result, we are also assessing a potential re-implementation approach

Our environment contains:

  • Medium customizations of delivered objects (5% of overall objects)
  • Multiple bolt-on objects.
  • Custom records, components, pages, and PeopleCode
  • Custom Application Engines and batch processes
  • Integration Broker interfaces and web services
  • Custom reports and security configurations

We would appreciate feedback from customers, partners, or Oracle experts who have completed a similar CRM migration.
