Disable Allow Self to be designated as a beneficiary

Hi, a client was implemented with Allow Self to be designated as a beneficiary. Preparing for Open Enrollment and they wish that not be enabled. I receive an error when unchecking and saving. I have tried correction mode of the original record and I have tried multiples of different dates. Each time is the same error. We have ran multiple versions of reports and cannot identify who is enrolled as Self for the Employee Supplemental Life Insurance plan. I have also opened a SR but that is going in circles currently.
