Hello,
Thanks for participating in the communities.
I did want to let you know--in the future, if you create your post as a Question rather than as a document, people will be able to easily answer your query.
You can add an attachment to a question as well, which is easier to read than the document format that you used.
I found Bug 16920539 - ERROR ID 111A DISPLAYS INCORRECT CAUSE AND RESOLUTION IN P4141 which is for the 9.1 release:
When a user attempts to delete a cycle count line in P4141, an informational
message (Delete Invalid) Error ID 111A is displayed. This message was
implemented under Bug 10975599. The bug confirms that once a cycle count has
been entered, lines cannot be deleted and displays the above warning message.
But the cause and the resolution displayed for Error ID 111A has absolutely
nothing to do with cycle count entry and provides no benefit to the user in
terms of resolution and how to proceed.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
==================
1) Run R41411 Select Item for Count for a specific item
2) Open P41240 Cycle Count Entry, inquire on the above created cycle count
and take the row exit to P4141 Enter Cycle Count.
3) Select a line and click Delete. A confirmation box pops up and after that
information message (Delete Invalid) Error ID 111A is displayed with the
following cause/resolution:
CAUSE: The record deleted is being reference by a record in the Employee
Setup Tasks (F08711) table. To maintain referential integrity you are not
allowed to delete this record at this time.
RESOLUTION: Purge the records from the F08711 table that reference the record
you are trying to delete.
DESIRED OUTCOME
===============
Please correct the P4141 to display a meaningful hard error with the
following cause and resolution:
Cause :
It is not possible to remove the lines after R41411.
Resolution:
Do not enter a value on the Quantity Counted field and continue processing
the cycle count as normal. When a value is entered in this field, it sets a
flag in F4141.CCCD. When this field does not have the flag (due to no value
entered), it will not be included in the cycle count.
Hopefully this will help!
Regards,
Becky
