Spam cases creation issue

edited Nov 22, 2019 10:23AM in CRM 2 comments

Some spammer(s) knows our NetSuite Inbound Email address that ends with cases.netsuite.com and is regularly sending emails to this email address to send spam emails and it is creating cases in NetSuite. (almost 15-20 per day)

These are very graphic, vulgar type of cases that's ending up in their queue and it takes up their extra time to clean them up.

I followed up with our NetSuite support and have two updates so far for this issue:

1) It is highly possible that one of our support reps or NetSuite user's computer and Outlook got compromised and harvested the emails on it in which is how this has happened. --> This is impossible for us to track as to which customer rep or a customer got infected by some hacking.
