Item PickList on Sales Order Form

Hi All,

On the Sales Order form - I have seen in certain environments the Item Picklist provides more information such as Item Name, Description, On Hand qty, etc. but in other enviroments it is a simple list of item names only. See below screenshots

Can you help me understand if this is a feature that controls this behavior that need to switched on?
