is there a way to run a date specific lot report

Customer wants to determine what lots were on hand on a specific date. I don't think it is possible as you would have to reverse out all transactions back to the specified date range but wondered if anyone had done anything like this.

They sell grains so want to go back and see what they had available at a specific date.
