Extensibility API Layer Compliance and Safe Mode
This notice is to inform you that future releases of SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced will not support extensions that do not follow recommended use of the Extensibility API to implement customizations to private core Commerce modules. To assist with compliance going forward, a new Extensibility Layer Safe Mode configuration option has been introduced in SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced 2020.2.1. With this option enabled, you can identify extensions that do not follow recommended practices.
What is Changing?
Future releases of SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced will discontinue support for extensions that directly customize or import private core Commerce modules. These customizations should instead be implemented as recommended using the
